One bear to rule them all! Lord of the Rings has come to Build-A-Bear with an adorable new collaboration.
Build-A-Bear has had many collaborations with fan favorites, such as Tom Nook from Animal Crossing, Pokemon’s adorably rare Mew and the speedster himself – Sonic. However, the latest collection comes fresh from the Shire, as you can now get stuffed versions of some of your favorite characters from the Lord of the Ring series in an online exclusive promotion.
An unclothed bear costs $29 and comes with the LOTR logo on its foot. For the Gandalf and Frodo costumes, it will be $28 and for your teddy to wield the mighty Sting sword, it will be an additional $6. Sounds from the movie are available to put inside your bear for $8. You can also purchase a gift set of that comes with the bear as either the hobbit or wizard with sounds that ranges from $57 to $65. An unclothed Gollum is the least costly at only $15.

Other than being an adorable plush, you will soon be able to play as Gollum in a new game published by Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon. Lord of the Rings: Gullum is set for release in 2022 and will follow the tragic character on his quest to find his precious. The game will be available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
In other LOTR news, one fan reached max level in The Lord of the Rings Online by baking over four million pies in the span of eight months. Additionally, New Line Cinema has teamed up with Warner Bros. Animation to bring fans an all new LOTR anime film – The War of the Rohirrim. The movie will be a prequel that is set almost three centuries before the events that occurred during The Fellowship of the Ring. The War of the Rohirrim will center on the King of Rohan – Helm Hammerhand.
