Atlus have released a new story trailer for Omega Force and P-Studio’s hack and slash action RPG Persona 5 Strikers.
As previously reported, the game takes place in the summer vacation half a year after the events of Persona 5. The gang’s road trip across Japan is interrupted, as reality twists and metaverse Palaces appear in the real world as Jails.
Now the gang must journey across six Japanese cities, beat back Shadows in “pause-and-plan” action combat with old and new members of the Phantom Thieves, and try out the local sights and food.
The new story trailer focuses on how the metaverse is seeping into reality; bringing the Change of Heart epidemic back on a far grander scale as people’s twisted desires corrupt them, and their Palaces manifest in the real world.
As these corrupt people use Shadows to kidnap people and steal their own desires, The Phantom Thieves must once again steal the hearts of those who are corrupted to help them see the error of their ways.
