Ash and Goh are officially returning for more adventures in Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series. The 24th season of the popular animated series will reportedly premiere exclusively on Netflix in the United States on September 10. The first 12 episodes of the season will be available to stream with more to follow in the coming months.
All new adventures await as Ash and Goh meet new friends, face-off against some familiar rivals, and attempt to catch Pokémon from various regions, including Kanto through Galar. Previously released images from the series even teased that Goh may finally meet the legendary Pokémon Mew this time around. The season will also see the heroes continue their research for Cerise Laboratory while Ash works to complete his ever-present dream of becoming a Pokémon Master while climbing the World Coronation Series rankings. Meanwhile, Goh simply wants to add as many new Pokémon to his Pokédex as possible. Newcomer Chloe will also take her first steps as a Pokémon Trainer this season when she meets a mysterious Eevee.

Though the first 12 episodes of the season will be available on September 10, the rest of the season will take a bit longer to arrive. More episodes will come to the streaming service about every three months for the rest of the season. With no official episode count revealed, the season might progress into next year. Though no date has been revealed for when Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series will come to other territories outside the US, it is expected before the end of 2021.
It has been a busy year for Pokémon, and rightfully so. The brand celebrated its 25th anniversary this year and did so with a ton of new products and games. Earlier this year, the highly anticipated New Pokémon Snap and MOBA game Pokémon Unite were released. Later this year will see remakes of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl hitting Nintendo Switch. Pokémon also released a special 25th anniversary album with new tracks from some of the biggest names in music to celebrate. Not to mention, there were new cards, clothing, and merchandise that have launched this year. What a time to be a Pokémon fan!
