Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart And Cyberpunk 2077 Were The Most Downloaded PlayStation Games In June

PlayStation has announced the top downloaded games from PlayStation Network for June 2021. Unsurprisingly, Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart is the top download on PlayStation 5, while Cyberpunk 2077’s return to the PS Store saw it clinch top spot for PS4.

On the PS5 list, medieval multiplayer Chivalry 2 sits at a surprising second spot, followed by Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales which has consistently been in the top third of the table. Guilty Gear Strive, Scarlet Nexus, and Dark Alliance take up the rest of the top five. Mortal Kombat 11 sits at ninth spot and may jump a few spots up next month considering that NetherRealm has ended DLC support for the game.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has also made it to the list as the game continues to be popular after so many years. GTA 5 will probably make the list once it comes out for PS5.

Speaking of GTA 5, it takes second spot on the PS4 list, followed by NBA 2K21 and Minecraft. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War unsurprisingly sits at fifth spot with Chivalry 2 at sixth. The rest of the list doesn’t show anything out of the ordinary, except perhaps Need for Speed: Heat which took the 19th spot.

The PSVR list has Beat Saber claiming top spot with Job Simulator VR at second; I guess people really miss working in offices. Super Hot VR, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, and Cave Digger rounded off the top five on the list. As for free-to-play, Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Rocket League dominate the list, with Genshin Impact in at fourth.

Things don’t look all that different in Europe, with the top spots remaining the same across the board. The only major difference seems to be that FIFA 21 has ranked much higher, considering perhaps the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament and the general popularity of the sport.

Speaking of FIFA, Frenchman Kylian Mbape is set to return as the cover star of the series with FIFA 22. There’s also a “game changing reveal” set for a few hours from now. We’re not sure what it will entail, but EA is making it sound big.
