Ryan Reynolds dropped the trailer for the upcoming action comedy film Red Notice. The Netflix film, which stars Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Gal Gadot, and Reynolds, is aiming to satisfy both action junkies and comic fans alike.
In Red Notice, Reynolds and Johnson's characters are working together out of a mutually beneficial agreement where they both are chasing Gadot's character in order to capture her. The Netflix film has guns, explosions, car chases, prison breakouts, ballroom dancing, art galleries, jet skis, and heists. All of the above is a formula for a really fun action movie, as seen in the Fast and Furious franchise, and when the comedic timing of the three stars is thrown in, fans might be in for a great weekend watch when Red Notice drops on Netflix in November.

Reynolds has been on a big movie run in recent years. With his recent release of Free Guy, the current development of Deadpool 2, and the debut of The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, it seems like there's no stopping him anytime soon. Reynolds is also no stranger to both action and comedy films, as he is often known for delivering good performances in both categories. Reynolds has been picking good movie choices in recent years that highlight his comedic timing. Based on the trailer, Red Notice looks like a fun spin on what a typical James Bond movie would be, and considering No Time to Die will be released relatively soon, it'll be nice to see how fans react to both films. There's enough star power here to bring in each films' respective fan base to ensure Red Notice does well on streaming.
Gadot and The Rock have both been just as busy. The Rock was also in Free Guy, he had a Jungle Cruise movie come out, Hobbs & Shaw is also slated to get a follow-up, and he's been hard at work on DC's live-action adaptation of Black Adam. Meanwhile, Gadot has also been hard at work on the upcoming Wonder Woman project, was last seen in Zack Snyder's Justice League Cut, and has a 2022 mystery thriller film coming titled Death on the Nile.
Fans should expect none of these stars to stop anytime soon and if Red Notice does well for Netflix, expect a sequel or to see these three work together again in the future, which would also be great for fans. The film was teased earlier in the year and now fans finally got the first look. While Red Notice would've been perfect for the summer, expect this to be released in the fall.
Red Notice will be streaming on Netflix on November 12, 2021.
