SEGA President Gives His Resignation

Sega Sammy Holdings, parent company of SEGA, has announced that President and Chief Publishing Officer Kenji Matsubara has resigned due to “personal reasons.” No other information has been given at this time.

Matsubara became SEGA Networks Company’s Chief Technology Officer in 2014 and moved to become President in 2017. Prior to joining SEGA, he was CEO of Koei Tecmo for nine years, and then joined the Japanese branch of Zynga as its CEO, where he worked for two years.
