Skyrim has no shortage of fantastic mods, but this Corgi Companion one might be among its best. It's so good in fact, that the team over at Bethesda decided to showcase it as one of the best mods of August.
Created by TateTaylorUSA, the mod gives your Dragonborn a loyal corgi companion that comes with its own armor and model to "make her stand out from the rest of Skyrim's dogs." The adorable pupper – named Gladys, by the mod's creator – can also pick up items from the environment and will even play fetch.

Best of all, Gladys is fully voiced using audio from their very own corgis.
Here's a full breakdown of what the mod includes, but be careful – once you read it, you'll probably suffer from cuteness overload:
- A new adorable corgi follower named Gladys.
- A unique model and armor set to make her stand out from the rest of Skyrim's dogs.
- A looting system that will allow Gladys to retrieve useful items from the surrounding environment.
- A home framework that will allow you to tell Gladys where to live when dismissed.
- The ability to play fetch.
- Fully re-voiced sound effects using audio from creator's pet corgis.
After installing the mod, you can head over to a merchant ship in Solitude to purchase Gladys. TateTaylorUSA said the location was carefully chosen to make sure it "wouldn't conflict with any of the popular Solitude mods."
