According to the latest Job Listings, Sony is apparently hiring Producers for their XDev Studio to work on AAA games from Japan. In the Business Content Section of this Job Listing, it states, “You need to understand what it takes to build and maintain good relationships with your global marketing team and build and deliver AAA titles and franchises within SIE.” So they are definitely working on a new AAA game. Sony XDev Europe has previously helped Housemarque to make Returnal and Quantic Dream to make Detroit Become Human. However, this Job Listing makes it look like a Japanese Team I do not really know and couldn’t find anything by searching up XDev Japan.
Sony’s First-Party Output on PS5 looks incredible. We know that Sucker Punch might be working on a Multiplayer Game, and Bend Studio are already working on a game that will feature Open-World Elements along with Vehicles. I cannot wait to see what these Studios are up to. There are still many already announced titles that we haven’t gotten much information about, such as Horizon Forbidden West and God of War Ragnarok. Hopefully, we do get some information about these titles, and they will announce some new games as well.
