After two extremely vague trailers that kept fans guessing at the content for season two, we will all be able to officially stop guessing come December 17 this year. In addition to this news, we now know that The Witcher 3 will also be getting new DLC, as was announced during WitcherCon today.

Despite The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt being around for almost six years already, fans will still be getting some new content coming up. According to the official Twitter page, more information on the DLC will be coming soon, though it isn’t clear exactly when that’s going to be. What we know is that there is going to be a next-gen update for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and we will be getting some Netflix-inspired new items. The best part? It's free.

Though this might not be a huge update, it’s still great to see so far after the game has been released. The new items could be anything from swords to new gear for Roach, and we’re excited about it no matter what.

WitcherCon, which has been running today, has proven to be a success with exciting new announcements and reveals. CD Projekt Red and Netflix’s collaboration has paid off, and we’re curious to see where this all goes from here.
