The Witcher 3 on PS5 Gets a Physical Release Next Week

CD Projekt RED has confirmed the physical release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition on PS5 is slated for next week: 26th January 2023. The UK, USA, and majority of Europe will find the RPG on store shelves from the date mentioned, while Australia and New Zealand get it a day later. South American countries receive it on 31st January, and then a Japanese release is set for 9th February. More details can be found through the link.

The PS5 version retails at $39.99. Expect the usual retailers like Amazon and GameStop to have listings going up very shortly since this is a quick turnaround.

The Witcher 3 on PS5 updates the RPG masterpiece with better visuals and frame rates, and bundles all its DLC together under one roof. Additionally, a new quest and items from the Netflix show have been added. The upgraded version isn’t quite perfect, though, so a patch is expected to fix many issues soon.

“Over seven years after its original release, The Witcher 3 is still a masterpiece,” we concluded in our The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition PS5 review. “In its character writing and dialogue, it’s yet to be surpassed, while its knack for telling so many engrossing stories is still seriously impressive. Although aspects of its gameplay haven’t aged quite so well, there’s no doubt that Complete Edition is the best version of a truly outstanding open world adventure.”
