According to the Top Gear blog, The Top Gear Gaming Show is all about "celebrating the glorious union between cars and games". There will be a new episode of the show every Friday for ten weeks, with each episode featuring a different game with some connection to cars and driving.

Each special guest will also have the chance to do a digital fast lap around the Top Gear Test Track in a simulation rig. That section of the show will be called "Star in a Reasonably Still Car".

Co-host Mike Channell Tweeted about the show, saying, "Pretty excited about this one. I'm hosting the Top Gear Gaming Show with the brilliant

Julia Hardy every Friday for the next 10 weeks". Julia Hardy also Tweeted about the show, "well well well – the secret is finally out. Say hello to the TOP GEAR GAMING SHOW".

The first episode of Top Gear Gaming, which is hosted on Facebook, features RKG's Gav Murphy as a special guest. Murphy and Channell are challenged to drive a black cab around Watch Dogs Legion's London. The two have to drive from Buckingham Palace to Brixton whilst trying to avoid getting the biggest fare.

Besides the black cab challenge, the first episode also features an interview with Watch Dogs Legion's lead producer, Sean Crooks. Sean talks about recreating London and bringing it to life through Legion, and about trying to make the game as accurate to the real-world London as possible.

Other games included in the trailer for Top Gear Gaming include Rocket League, Forza Horizon, and Outrun, so expect each of those to take up its own episode.
