Tribes Of Midgard: The Best Armor Sets, Ranked | Game Rant

In Tribes of Midgard, players spend most of the game hunting for resources that will allow them to hold off the Joten forces. Armor is one of the most important sets of items players will want to craft. Midgard is full of dangerous foes, who won't hesitate to team up against a solo player. Gamers must also be wary of the elements, as players suffer from freezing and overheating.

Armor is currently the main way to add to a player's defensive abilities. Tribes of Midgard currently has eleven armor sets, each with five items: a helmet, chest plate, gloves, pants, boots, and a shield. Each item must be individually crafted, which means players will need plenty of resources. The Villager set may be the easiest to craft, however, it's far from providing the best defense.

  • Element: None
  • Perks: When combined, this set gives the wearer +13 to cold weather resistance and +8 to hot weather resistance. The set also provides a +12 resistance to fire, ice, dark, and thunder damage.
  • How To Aquire: The materials for this armor set are relatively easy to collect. To make the Hersir Set players will need a total of 8 leather, 5 wood, and 7 small bones. These items are all common items and can be collected in the Bright Forest and Land of Pools regions. The leather will drop from defeated Dokkalfar warriors and archers, while the small bones drop from defeated Goblins.

9 Raider Set

  • Rarity Level: Uncommon. This set will give the wearer a total of 57 points toward their defense.
  • Element: None
  • Perks: This set gives the wearer +8 to cold weather resistance and +13 to hot weather resistance. It also provides a +12 resistance to fire, ice, dark, and thunder damage.
  • How To Aquire: The raider set is a little bit harder to craft compared to the Villager and Hersir armor sets. The materials required for the full set include 11 leather, 4 wood, and 7 silver. Though silver is common in the Land of Pools region, it's often very spread out in comparison to other minerals. This means players will have to carefully search the entire region, especially when competing for resources with up to ten other players. Players can find leather by defeating Dokkalfar warriors and archers and the occasional Goblin.
