Rare today released its promised Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life gameplay trailer along with a few new details.
First revealed on Sunday during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase as part of E3, Rare promised a first look at gameplay today. And they delivered with a relatively short trailer that gives us a sneak peek at the new free DLC. As part of Season Three, Disney pirate Jack Sparrow is making his way to the Sea of Thieves world.
“Sea of Thieves gameplay gets an extra flourish on Xbox Series X where players can make the most of this epic new cinematic experience, with 120Hz performance mode supporting 120 FPS at 1080p, or 60 FPS at 4K,” says Rare’s Joe Neate.
“Xbox Series S players will also benefit from 60 FPS at 1080p, with both consoles enjoying reduced loading times – getting players back into the action quicker than ever before,” he adds.
A Pirate’s Life is free for everyone who owns the game on PC, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X. It’s also free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
