Where Watch July 2021 Deathloop Sony State Of Play

Sony continued its recent tradition of skipping E3 this year, which means we're due for some announcements. A new State of Play is just in time, then, and it's set to stream today. The focus this time is on Arkane's Deathloop, although several third-party and indie titles will be featured.

According to Sony, the stream will last about 30 minutes and focus mainly on an extended gameplay segment of Deathloop. The indies and third-party titles will get updates. Sony also warns viewers ahead of time to not expect any news about God of War Ragnarok or Horizon Forbidden West.

Even without God of War, you'll want to watch the Sony State of Play for Deathloop. Here's the when and where.

For your conveniece, we also embedded the Deathloop State of Play above. That's the YouTube version, which is always reliable at the cost of being a few seconds behind the Twitch version. If you'd rather have the faster Twitch version, or just want to open the stream in a separate window, use the below links.

Deathloop has the distinction of being one of 2021's most anticipated games, and the last hope for those who have had their expectations soured this year. Much of E3 underwhelmed, with Nintendo taking an easy win. But even Nintendo's victory lap was short lived, as the Switch Pro turned out to be less than pro (although one could argue that's on "insiders" for building it up and fans for letting their imaginations run wild). Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance isn't doing so hot, either. Needless to say, Deathloop is set up to be a definiting experience for 2021 gaming.
