Wizard World will return to live events on October 15-17 with Wizard World Chicago at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, its home since 1998.
All tickets purchased for the originally scheduled event in 2020, also postponed from August 2021, will be honored. Other ticket details, including on sale dates, will also be announced soon. Wizard World Chicago 2021 will be the 23rd edition of the Midwest’s largest pop culture convention.
“Virtual events over the past 15 months have opened Wizard World up to fans across the globe, and we’re looking forward to incorporating those elements into the reimagined Wizard World live event format,” says Wizard Brands CEO and Chairman Scott Kaufman.

Celebrity guests, artists, exhibitors, ticketing and other details are still TBD.
Other convention dates
The Chicago show is the first in-person Wizard World event in over a year. Wizard World New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Portland were postponed earlier this year.
The new convention dates are as follows:
- Wizard World Philadelphia, November 12-14, 2021(Greater Philadelphia Expo Center)
- Wizard World New Orleans, January 7-9, 2022 (Ernest N. Morial Convention Center)
- Wizard World Portland, January 28-30, 2022 (Oregon Convention Center)
