Yareli Warframe Trailer Shows Off Its Aquatic Skills And Abilities

Digital Extremes is bringing Yareli to the cast of Warframe on July 6. Ahead of her release, the team is treating us to a sneak peek of their abilities – showing off just how devastating her aquatic-based attacks can be.

The Yareli Profile Trailer clocks in at just under two minutes, giving us our first good look at the Warframe in action. Many of her skills are an exciting combination of crowd-control and damage-over-time, letting you snare enemies in place while still whittling down their health bar.

Here are Yareli's four water-based skills:

  • Sea Snares: Sets a trap that snares enemies and deals increasing damage over time. If enemies are already in range when deployed, the traps become homing missiles and lock on to their targets.
  • Merulina: Yareli's very own elemental board. While riding, a portion of incoming damage will be diverted away from you and to Merulina – making this a great way to escape over-powered enemies or quickly travel across the map.
  • Aquablades: Emits a high-speed cyclone that follows Yareli – staggering and damaging any enemies in range.
  • Riptide: Create a jet of water that ragdolls your enemies and snares them in place. When the skill is deactivated, the jet explodes – dealing damage based on the number of enemies snared.

"Yareli fights for those who need it most, and strikes fear into those who oppress," the announcement says. "Do you dream of water, Tenno?"

Yareli is all about commanding the "ocean's fury," and you'll need that power to tackle all the new content heading to Warframe on July 6. The Sisters of Parvos update brings not only Yareli, but also a new Corpus enemy and several other gameplay improvements and unlockables – including plenty of shiny new weapons.

Warframe is once again collaborating with Amazon, giving away free gear to anyone who is a Prime Gaming member. TennoCon is also right around the corner – so expect to see more big updates beyond Yareli in the coming months.
