Ubisoft has officially revealed Far Cry 6's PC system requirements prior to the game’s launch on October 7. In addition, the team has offered a special look at the PC version and its features, including the accessibility options.
When sharing system requirements, traditionally the developers provide us with a bunch of specs to suit every budget. Far Cry 6 is your typical cross-gen title, so it should run smoothly on even relatively modest modern configurations. However, the PC enthusiasts will need a high-end machine to run the game on max settings in 4K resolution with all the ray-tracing bells and whistles. All of the provided settings require you to utilize Windows 10 (64-bit only) and DirectX 12.

Another important thing is that Ubisoft recommends you install Far Cry 6 onto an SSD — you’ll need at least 60GB of free space for the game, and another 37GB if you want to install the optional HD textures pack for higher resolutions.
Here are the minimum, recommended, and everything in-between configurations for Far Cry 6:

Aside from Far Cry 6 system configurations, the company has also shared a special trailer for the PC-version, which is being optimized by Ubisoft Kyiv in collaboration with the Toronto and Montreal divisions. The game will feature “in-depth customization options,” which include an uncapped frame rate, scaled resolution for ultrawide displays, as well as ray-tracing and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution support. A built-in benchmark tool with the ability to preview graphics settings will allow you to quickly adjust the best balance between performance and visuals.
Ubisoft has also implemented multiple accessibility options to make the game more inclusive — such as closed captions, a colourblind mode, and text-to-speech for all supported languages.
