Among Us Developer Innersloth Reveals Everyone Hates The Tan Skin

Turns out, the new tan-colored spacebean in Among Us ain't so popular. In fact, it's the least popular skin in the entire game.

Innersloth, the developer of Among Us, posted a picture on Twitter revealing the popularity of each color in-game from first to last. To nobody's surprise, red is the most popular. The second is black while the third is white.

Meanwhile, brown is second last while some of the newer variants – maroon, coral, and banana – have also slumped down into the echelons of the underused. These newer colors were added fairly recently to spice up the variety. For context – if you haven't played in a little while – there are 15-player lobbies now. That means more colors are needed, but not all have managed to dethrone the originals.

Xbox replied, "We demand a recount," standing in solidarity with the tan spacebean. Among Us' Twitter account replied, "When we launch on Xbox, we better hope the green beans pull through for you." Yeah, they aren't too popular either: lime came in 13th out of 18 places while green was 14th.

Among Us has seen a 500% uptick in players this year with the launch of the Airship Map. It's a game akin to Trouble in Terrorist Town or Town of Salem. You're put into a map where you have tasks to complete while some players are there to kill everybody else, pretending to be an upstanding member of society. You have to sus out who the impostor is.

Perhaps tan will crawl its way out of the last place one of these days but it might take an even less popular new addition to give it a chance. For now, you can dive into Among Us on PC, mobile, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation.
