Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The Siege of Paris – How to Enter the Assassin’s Bureau (Key Locations)

Assassin's Creed Valhalla's latest DLC, The Siege of Paris, places players in 9th century Francia. This new region is full of new weapons to collect and missions to explore. One of the more interesting additions in this expansion to Assassin's Creed Valhalla is tied to opening the Hidden Ones Bureau in Paris. Its door requires three keys that are scattered across Francia and this guide will lead players to each one.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla players must visit three separate ruins in Francia and each one has a puzzle between the player and the key. Players must travel to the Diodurum, Gisacum, and Champlieu ruins in order to grab the keys necessary to open the main Hidden Ones Bureau in Paris and get the rewards within.

This ruin is located near the Aura River and to the west of Paris. There is a synchronization point at this location and the entrance to the key's hiding place is inside the pond.

There is a partially concealed door that players must swim through. Once inside, they have to submerge themselves and dive deeper into the ruins. Swimming underneath through a second opening brings players to a Hidden Ones door.

Behind the door is the puzzle room. It requires players to dive once again and swim through the sunken ruins to get to an area with a destructible wall and explosive containers. Tossing the latter at the former opens up the room with one of the Books of Knowledge in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and a key to the Hidden Ones Bureau door in Paris.

The Gisacum ruins is another key location in The Siege of Paris DLC. To the northwest of Paris, the Gisacum ruins look like an ancient Roman bathhouse. There are enemies inside that players should watch out for but getting to the hidden entrance is relatively straightforward. Within the structure is a destructible wooden floor that leads to the Hidden Ones door.

Once inside, the puzzle involves a new feature brought to Assassin's Creed Valhalla with this new DLC. The Siege of Paris offers swarms of rats as a new obstacle for players to overcome in their puzzling.

Within this location, there are a few swarms that players need to either distract or avoid. The key is in the right and rear of the building and players can grab it by using the nearby dead body to distract the rats.

The third and final key can be found on the opposite side of the map, at a location northeast of Paris. Champlieu Ruins is in a state of deterioration similar to the previous two.

And once again, the hidden door can be found by destroying a destructible floor. Once inside players have a moveable crate, a destructible wall, and a swarm of rats with which to contend.

Players should head underneath the entrance to the right by sliding, then scare off the rat swarm, and grab an explosive container. Holding on to the container, players can slide through the first opening again and just destroy the destructible section of the wall. This opens up the area with the final key.

With three keys, the game should prompt the player to locate the Hidden Ones Bureau in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The Bureau is located within the southern section of the city of Paris. The entrance that leads to the Bureau is within a ruin on the western portion of this part of the city.

Once inside, The Siege of Paris players will face similar puzzles as they did acquiring the keys. There are destructible walls and swarms of rats inside the Bureau as well as an impressive weapon. There isn't any exact order that players must go through in order to complete this scavenger hunt and, as long as all three keys have been gathered, then the door to the Hidden Ones Bureau will open.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
