The Gunvolt series is an awesome spiritual successor to Inti Creates beloved Mega Man Zero and ZX games. It had been revealed during the BitSummit Gaiden online event back in 2020 that Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 would be coming to Nintendo Switch with a new hero in tow, but fans everywhere have been wondering exactly when that would be. During today’s New Game+ Expo the answer was revealed: July 28.
Mega Man granddaddy Keiji Inafune is serving as “action supervisor” on the project. The Gunvolt series is seriously fun and entertaining, so hopefully this third installment lives up to the pedigree that has been set. Are you a fan of Gunvolt?
