Reddit user Snobbydactyl showed off their own creation of an alternate look for the Zoras inspired by orcas. The hulking Zora features a monochrome design inspired by the black-and-white coloration of orcas and a long tail extending from the back of its head. The original Zora has a brooding and intense look matching the orca's killer nature and even has fun little details, like a hook hanging from its dorsal fin.
Fans in the post's comments were quick to express their desire to see the character added to the world of Breath of the Wild. Many envisioned the brooding Zora as a potential enemy for Link to battle with or as a rival for the Zora prince, Sidon. Other fans compared its muscular design to that of characters like Gang Orca from My Hero Academia or the Zora King Dorephan featured in Breath of the Wild. The aquatic people have taken on many different appearances throughout the Zora's history in Zelda and the orca-inspired design adds another unique take to that library.
