Cyberpunk 2077 had a rough launch, to say the least, with the last-gen console versions of Cyberpunk riddled with glitches and serious performance issues. The problems were so bad that CD Projekt Red issued refunds for Cyberpunk 2077, and the game was even pulled from the PlayStation Store for a time. Months later, CD Projekt Red is still working to improve the Cyberpunk 2077 experience, releasing new updates to address fan feedback and make quality of life changes.
The first notable change coming in Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 is a tweak to the GPS. After downloading the new update, Cyberpunk 2077 players will notice that their GPS will be more zoomed-out than it was previously. This should make driving cars in Cyberpunk 2077 and traveling to mission objectives a much smoother experience than it has been since launch. It may seem like a small change to some, but quality of life improvements like this are definitely important.

The second change coming in the next Cyberpunk 2077 update is a small tweak to a mission called Automatic Love where players have to choose between dolls Angel or Skye in a brothel. Previously, it wasn't really made clear to players which doll was which gender, leading to some potentially awkward situations if Cyberpunk 2077 players wanted to be with the female doll instead of the male doll or vice versa. Now it should be much clearer that when Cyberpunk 2077 players are choosing between Angel and Skye that Angel is the male doll and Skye is the female doll.
And finally, the third change detailed by CD Projekt Red is by far the most significant. Once Cyberpunk 2077 fans download Patch 1.3, they will finally be able to reset perks. In exchange for a fee, Cyberpunk 2077 perks can be reset, allowing players to spend them all over again and tweak their particular build for V to better suit their liking. This has been a much-requested feature since launch, so many fans will likely be pleased that it's finally coming to the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 sounds like it will be making some changes that should make for an overall better experience for players, but it's safe to say that many are waiting for more substantial updates before they jump back in. Namely, fans may be anxious to learn about the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen ports, which will bring the game to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X with upgrades that should improve the experience even further.
Others may be waiting to learn more about the Cyberpunk 2077 content updates that will add new story content to the game. CD Projekt Red is hosting a livestream about Cyberpunk 2077 on August 17 at 10am ET, so perhaps more information will come to light then.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
