Danganronpa’s Switch Collection Launches In December

Spike Chunsoft is packaging up all three Danganronpa games, along with another new one, and launching them as a collection for Switch this December 3. Danganronpa Decadence is the original trilogy with the Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp board game added as a standalone game pulled from Danganronpa V3.

During this year's digital E3, Spike Chunsoft announced it would bring Danganronpa to Nintendo Switch as a collection packaged with all of the games. Danganronpa V3's board game mode will add to it in the form of a fourth, fleshed-out standalone game. Spike Chunsoft did mention the launch would come later this year, and it looks like we'll see Danganronpa hit the Switch as a bundle just in time for the holidays.

Danganronpa's other three games are already out for other platforms, but Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp will be the first release of Killing Harmony's board game as a standalone title. You'll get to revisit characters from Trigger Happy Havoc, Goodbye Despair, and Ultra Despair Girls. The board game is intended to be a more peaceful getaway for the cast on Danganronpa's Jabberwock Island.

For Danganronpa's biggest fans, Spike Chunsoft is also releasing a Collector's Edition of Decadence, along with the usual standard edition. It comes packaged with a poster, art prints, remix OST, and steel book.

Danganronpa joins the ranks of plenty of other games announced during Nintendo's E3 press conference that will be playable this year. Coming up in October, you'll be able to pick up Metroid Dread for your Switch, and Mario Party Superstars will follow up shortly after on October 28.
