Bungie released Destiny 2 back in 201, and it continues to update the game with new content, bug fixes, and balancing. Players continue to notice strange details and bugs in Destiny 2, too, including a recently noticed bug focused on the Brig that makes it go "Super Saiyan."
Twitter user DestinyNewsCom recently shared a clip from Destiny 2 that focuses on a Brig attacking a Guardian. The player in the video isn't under attack as the Brig is focusing on another Guardian in the distance. The player the video is based around begins unloading Hand Cannon and Fusion Rifle ammo into the mech as it unsuccessfully fires blasts at the Guardian out of view which end up hitting nearby debris.

The Nightstalker Hunter's critical attack at the face of the Brig may have been what triggered it to change its attack strategy. Pausing their attack to observe the uninterested Brig, the player noticed the Brig change its stance as it reached low health. It reared up and before hovering above the ground with its propulsion system.
The Hunter spotted the Super Saiyan bug during this volley, and it had many people reacting online. The Brig took aim at a Guardian in the distance rather than its most immediate threat, likely ushering its doom shortly after. This focused blast resembles the Kamehameha Wave from the Dragon Ball franchise which was popularized by the main character, Goku.
Unlike Goku's typical Super Saiyan attacks, the Brig's onslaught was just as unsuccessful as its initial attacks in the clip. The power of the blast is still reflected through the radiant orange and blue lights that it produces as the cannon fire continued. The Brig remained at very little health as the onslaught continued, much like Goku's ability to power up despite being heavily wounded.
The Brig remains airborne as its cannon stops the attack, with the Hunter featured in the clip continuing their assault of the enemy at its conclusion. Considering the Brig was nearing death as it finished its attack, it likely died shortly after the end of the clip. The Super Saiyan attack from the Brig also appears to be as unsuccessful as its initial blasts at the other Guardian as they can be briefly seen dodging the very centralized attack.
Some Destiny 2 players may be surprised to know that this Brig onslaught is a bug because the cannon's animation suggests that was Bungie's intention. Destiny 2 is a lot different from the Dragon Ball franchise, but it's easy to see the similarities between this blast and the Kamehameha. Considering how powerful the cannon fire looked, the other Guardian may have died if they were directly hit.
Destiny 2 is available right now for Google Stadia, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
