Epic Games Store Makes Wishlist Improvement

The Epic Games Store may be a few years old at this point, but the platform is still working to play catch up with competing online storefronts when it comes to features for the quality of life for customers. However, a recent update by Epic Games has introduced one of these much needed quality of life improvements that allows fans to better keep track of games they might be looking forward to.

This update mostly involves the way that the Wishlist on the Epic Games Store behaves, giving customers the chance to bookmark several titles that might be coming out soon. Players can also mark games that they might not be able to afford as they are browsing through the constantly growing library of titles that are releasing every day.

What this new update changes with the Wishlist system specifically, is that it has changed the upper limit of how many games can be added to each player's list at a time. First posted to the Epic Games subreddit by Reddit user cookiecutter11997, fans have quickly begun sharing this new update with a cheerful level of excitement for this quality of life improvement. The new limit for games that players can add to this Epic Games Wishlist is up to 250 total games, a huge jump from the previous 50 titles that could be added before.

Some fans had hoped that the Wishlist cap might be removed entirely, allowing them to add any games they wanted to their own personal list and keeping an ongoing bookmark of every title they are looking to pick up. In some cases, fans mostly look at the way that adding a game to their Wishlist signs them up for updates whenever there is a discount or sale, or they become free on the Epic Games Store for a limited time. So, being able to add more games to that list means that fans can better have the pricing updates on titles they are most excited for catered specifically towards them.

It's a smaller update coming to the Epic Games Store, but these types of little quality of life improvements are often what make customers more comfortable on different online storefronts. Along with making sure that fans feel safe to purchase without risk of malware or other complications that come with online shopping, it is these smaller details that continue to boost the Epic Games Store as a leading platform. Hopefully, Epic Games has more updates to improve access for players coming to keep competitive with other storefronts.
