Far Cry 6’s Vaas Insanity DLC is going to be available on November 16th, Ubisoft has confirmed. In this content, players take control of Far Cry 3 antagonist Vaas in a roguelite experience where players start with a pistol and find better weapons to journey through his mind. The role is being reprised by Michael Mando, who played Vaas in Far Cry 3. Vaas is the first villain you will be able to play as in the Season Pass content, with Pagan Min and Joseph Seed DLC also coming.
Alongside the Villain content, the Far Cry 6 season pass may also get a remaster of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, a rip on 80’s action movies with sci-fi elements. Of course, there is no release date for that or the other content that will star Pagan Min and Joseph Seed just yet. In our review for Far Cry 6, Gareth wrote:
“Far Cry 6 feels like a sequel that was made because there needed to be a sequel, that’s making changes because it needs to show progress. The previous three numbered games in the series felt like they had their own identity and tried to offer more and more options to the player, but Far Cry 6 is a lateral move towards something that isn’t quite the Far Cry I originally loved.”
