Forza Horizon 5 Dev Reveals Full Mexico Map

Playground Games has revealed Forza Horizon 5’s full Mexico map, and it’s a huge one. The dev said the open world in the next Forza will be the biggest in the series yet and is about 50 percent larger than Forza Horizon 4’s Britain.

The developer showed the sprawling Mexico map in its full glory on Twitter, and it certainly looks spectacular. There will be 11 unique biomes available, including an all-new swamp biome. Horizon 4’s seasons are also making a return, providing the players with notable changes on a regular basis. In addition, Horizon 5 will have a big emphasis on weather conditions, including summer storms, heavy spring rains, snowfalls, and more. Check the full map for yourself:

As you can see, there are plenty of interesting natural areas, lively cities, and other landmarks scattered throughout the map. Players can already plan their journey through Mexico, which will be fully available for exploration from the beginning. You can go straight to La Gran Caldera volcano, or rush to explore the sandy coast of Duna Blanca or Gran Pantano rainy jungles. A winding road leading to the volcano will definitely be a paradise for drifters, while speed junkies will be attracted to a long, straight highway across the country (the longest in the series so far) to get the best of their exotic cars.

During the latest Forza Monthly livestream, Playground showed off the latest new car expanding the roster — the new 2022 Toyota Supra GR. The good thing is that this spectacular vehicle will be available right from the start as one of the primary cars for players on November 9.

We also learned there will be a lengthy railroad in Mexico just like in the UK, the roads will be filled with traffic, and six different Festivals will take place all across the map.

Earlier the game’s creative director Mike Brown said that “Mexico is almost like the whole world in one country: snowy peaks, tropical jungles, epic canyons, beautiful beaches, ancient architecture, and modern cities,” so there is no more exciting location for the next Horizon Festival.
