We still don't have a firm date for Halo Infinite's upcoming multiplayer technical test (or "flight" as 343 Industries prefers to call it), but we do know there is a lot of interest from eager Halo fans. At least six figures-worth of interest.
Community director Brian Jarrard recently took to Twitter to remind those fans that they need to complete their Halo Insider profiles in order to get in on the technical beta and that there are at least 100,000 fans waiting to get beta access but won't because they haven’t completed their profiles.
"I know folks are getting tired of seeing all the Halo Insider reminders – I promise we're not trolling,” wrote Jarrard. ”Truth is we have a LOT (six figures worth) of people who ‘signed up’ but didn't complete all the required steps. Legit makes me sad knowing they'll miss the opportunity."

To take part in the Halo Infinite beta you have to be a Halo Insider, which is 343's members-only emailing list. Not only do Insiders get first dibs on new content, but they also get exclusive offers like this closed technical beta for Halo Infinite. Signing up is free, but you do need to verify your email.
Two weeks ago, Jarrard said that the technical preview is "creeping closer and closer" although just like today he didn't provide us with any specifics. Back then, he also mentioned that folks needed to complete their profiles and have verified emails to take part in the beta, so don't say he didn't warn you.
