With the release of Halo Infinite only a couple of months away, Xbox recently unveiled a new limited edition Xbox Series X based on the game. This is the most recent addition to Xbox's impressive list of collector edition consoles. While supply has been scarce, it seems like fans are about to get another opportunity to purchase the gaming system.
With a subtle yet impressive design, the limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X has become popular with pre-orders selling out extremely fast. While this high level of demand and lack of supply shouldn’t come as much of a shock given the current state of the video game industry, this is no doubt a disappointment to fans hoping to purchase one. To make matters worse, scalpers are reselling the limited edition Halo Infinite consoles for insanely high prices. However, it looks like a number of legitimate retailers are about to have new stock of the console available for pre-order.

The first major retailer rumored to be getting a restock is GameStop. This news comes as customer service associates at GameStop have been confirming that fans will be able to pre-order the console this week. Despite already releasing one round of stock for pre-orders since the limited edition console was announced at Gamescom 2021, it seems likely that there are more waves incoming. It seems that the probable dates for new stock to become available are September 7-9.
Another major retailer seemingly on the verge of releasing new stock of the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X is Amazon. While some projected the company to have stock available for pre-order last week, the company’s lack of pre-orders so far means that this week looks even more promising. More signs of an impending drop include recent changes made to the official listing on Amazon and the fact that Amazon has already opened up pre-orders for the limited edition console in other countries.
Best Buy and Antonline are two other retailers to pay attention to over the coming days. Even though Antonline hasn’t announced pre-orders for the console, the retailer has confirmed that it will have stock of the console when it releases on November 15. In addition, Best Buy has a listing for the limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X on its website. While customer service associates for the retailer claim that pre-orders are expected around 3 weeks before release, it is possible that the company’s plans for releasing stock could change.
With a number of retailers seemingly poised to get a restock of the limited edition Halo Infinite Xbox Series X, now is a good time to pay attention to restock alerts. However, it is worth noting that none of these rumors have been confirmed and could change over the coming days. Nevertheless, as the release date for Halo Infinite comes closer, the probability of restocks should increase.
Halo Infinite releases December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
