When Will Genshin Impact's Servers Go Live?

Mihoyo is estimating maintenance will take around five hours, but it's just that, an estimate. On occasion, the developer runs into problems and extends the Genshin Impact's downtime, but it's also finished early. Regardless, here's when you can expect the Genshin Impact servers to go live with version 2.1:

  • August 31, 8 pm PDT
  • August 31, 10 pm CT
  • August 31, 11 pm ET
  • September 1, 4 am BST
  • September 1, 8:30 am IST
  • September 1, 11 am HKT
  • September 1, 12 pm JST
  • September 1, 1 pm HKT

While you may miss roaming through Teyvat, it's not all bad. Mihoyo will give away 300 Primogems to compensate for Genshin Impact being offline. Plus, there's always the silver lining of an additional 60 Primogems for every hour should it get extended.

Genshin Impact's patch, Floating World Under the Moonlight, revealed just how much is coming with its update in its special live stream a week ago. PS4 and PS5 players will have access to Aloy when things kick-off, while PC and mobile players can recruit her later. A new four-star character, Kujou Sara, will also make her debut in a new banner.
