While you're out adventuring in Kitaria Fables, you'll notice plenty of treasure chests lurking in the overworld, in the depths of dungeons, and even in the towns that you visit. While many of these will open at the touch of a button, others require a particular key in order to unlock them.

How to Craft Keys in Kitaria Fables
There are three different kinds of keys that you can craft: Copper, Silver, and Gold. All of these keys can be crafted by speaking to Shamrock the Blacksmith in Paw Village or Rufus the Blacksmith in Rivero Fortress. You'll need ingots and Ironstone to make the keys, as well as a fair few Paw Pennies too. We have a full guide on how to craft ingots here.

How to Use Keys in Kitraria Fables
There are four different kinds of chests in the game; wooden ones that can open with no key, copper chests, silver chests, and then gold chests. Naturally, you'll need the matching key in order to open a specific chest. The chest is colored the same as the type of key it requires, so a silver chest will need a Silver Key. If you're unsure, examining the chest will tell you exactly which key you need.
Chests can be found all over the world, so it's worth carrying a few spare keys on you if you have the resources, money, and inventory space to allow you to do so. Chests are very worthwhile in terms of rewards, as you can end up with some awesome gear or even a heap of Paw Pennies.
