After stunning fans by adding Goldlewis Dickinson to the roster, Arc System Works has announced that Guilty Gear Strive's second DLC fighter will be none other than Jack-O, the reincarnated persona of Sol Badguy's former lover. Making her playable debut in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, Jack-O has been firmly linked to Sol's story since the second game in the series. She played a big role in the story of Strive and it was actually quite surprising she wasn't on the main roster.
Thankfully, that omission is soon being rectified. A new trailer shows off her moveset and it is definitely reminiscent of the last game. Strive puts more of a focus on rushing down opponents, but Jack-O certainly isn't lacking for combos.

So far, a datamine posted back in June seems to be 100% accurate. It posited that Goldlewis, Jack-O, Happy Chaos, Asuka, and Jam would be made available for Strive's first season. With two of the five confirmed and another two likely coming (as they were heavily involved in the game's story), Arc System Works may be out of surprises for Strive's first year. With the game finding a ton of success, however, I doubt this will be the end of post-launch support for Strive.
Jack-O will be made available on August 27, 2021, for season pass holders. Those that would like to grab her individually will be able to do so on August 30, 2021. Alongside Jack-O's release will be a new color pack that adds alternate color schemes for certain characters. No pricing has currently been revealed.
