New Pokémon Unite Bug Makes Machamp Nude

It's no wonder that Nintendo is literally waiting until the kinks have been ironed out before Pokémon Unite launches on mobile. Already, fans have found a glitch that strips Machamp of their trunks.

As seen in the tweet below, this glitch leaves Machamp – who has thankfully turned around – with their bottom on display for the world to see. The trainer's face is also eerily distorted as though he's from one of those old corrupted cartridges they used to make creepypasta Pokémon games with.

According to The Pokémon Company, Machamp is always naked. The trunks and belts are part of their skin. Yet, this glitch gives us an insight into what it would look like if that were not the case. With that, we're just glad that this Pokémon evolved to at least pretend to cover up.

The tweet, as spotted by Eurogamer, shows a victory screen with the trainer and their Machamp looking a little distorted while the Pokémon drops their briefs. It's one way to celebrate a win, although it might be a bit breezy up in the sky-void with all of the clouds.

Still, plenty of Pokémon are naked by default. Pikachu rocks about with his lightning bolt out and weedle slithers along with nothing to cover them up. They are bugs after all. The difference with Machamp is that they're a touch more human-like barring the added two arms. They even help you move into your new home in Sapphire.

It's unclear how you can replicate this glitch (although, why you'd want to is another question). It seems to be random, but Nintendo will no doubt be on it in record time.

Pokémon Unite is a Nintendo Switch exclusive free-to-play MOBA that launched last week. It's coming to mobile devices next September.
