No More Heroes 3 Shows Off Its Jobs

The latest gameplay clips for No More Heroes 3 show the job system in action, including having Travis fix toilets with motion controls.

As reported by Nintendo Life, developer Marvelous has been posting short gameplay clips from No More Heroes 3 on Twitter over the past month, including showing off its combat, world-map, exploration, and now the job system, which is returning from the first and second game.

The original No More Heroes had Travis completing odd jobs and side-missions in order to earn the money to participate in the next ranked battle. It was a bit of a mixed point for No More Heroes players, although it was considered important to establishing the game's themes. No More Heroes 2 brought the system back in the form of 8-bit minigames, although it also made them completely optional and available as a bonus for players.

Now it seems like No More Heroes 3 is bringing them back once more, and it seems like they have a similar purpose to the first game. In the Tweet showing off the two jobs, Marvelous said, " Earn the participation fee for ranking battles through volunteer missions." This implies that they'll be mandatory once again, rather than just being there for players who want more content.

The gameplay videos show Travis trying to unclog a censored toilet bowl using motion controls and having to find a sweet spot in order to pass the minigame. The second job should be familiar to anyone who has played the original No More Heroes and sees Travis once again using a lawnmower to cut the grass. The differences here seem to include Travis being able to taunt and dance as he mows, as well as speeding the mower up.
