Pinhead Is The Next Killer Coming To Dead By Daylight

The next killer coming to Dead by Daylight appears to be Hellraiser's Pinhead, as revealed by a version of the trailer uploaded to the Chinese Dead by Daylight account.

The teaser, which was posted on the Dead by Daylight Twitter, shows a TV playing a VHS tape. The TV flickers several times and shows something red onscreen for a few frames before the TV turns off completely, with many noticing that it looked like a red flower from Hellraiser. In the corner of the screen is the date "1987". Fans were incredibly split on whether the teaser was for Five Nights at Freddy's or Hellraiser thanks to the date and red flower, but new information has revealed that it is the latter.

The Dead by Daylight subreddit put together a large discussion post on what the community thought the next killer could be, with all of the evidence pointing towards Pinhead. The first bit of evidence came from a group of audio files that were put into the Dead by Daylight discord. Once arranged on a spectrogram, the audio files spell out the word "Hell", which definitely leans more towards Hellraiser. Letters released by the developers have also started to spell out the word Hellraiser, with only a few letters left.

Although the speculation started pointing towards Hellraiser anyway, the final bit of evidence pretty much confirms that Pinraiser is coming to the game next. One fan discovered that a version of the trailer released on the Chinese Dead by Daylight YouTube features some text that says, "DBD_Hellraiser_Teaser_FINAL_with_sound". Unless this is some mistake by whoever uploaded the trailer, or maybe even a joke from Behaviour, it's pretty clear which character is coming next.

With the spectrogram, letters spelling Hellraiser, red flowers found in the teaser, and now this accidental leak from the trailer's description, it's all but confirmed that Hellraiser is the next killer coming to Dead by Daylight. Let's hope that the large fan reaction from those wanting Springtrap might push Behaviour to put Five Nights at Freddy's in the game next.
