Pokemon Unite: How To Beat Electrode | Game Rant

When it comes to MOBA games, being efficient is the difference between being good at the title and being great at it. The best players will know where to get the most points and how to do so quickly, which can be vital to securing an advantage.

Those seeking to become more proficient in winning Quick Battles in Pokemon Unite will need to make use of the special wild pokemon located in one of the possible maps: the snow-covered Shivre City. Here, Electrodes are worth quite a bit more than the Snoms and Alolan Meowths that populate most of the area, so players should try to farm them when possible, despite the danger of getting caught in an explosive attack by the orb-like Electric-type.

Located in the middle of the map, at equal distances from each team's Goal Zone, players will find an open central area where Avalugg can be found. Directly to the north and south of the paths around this area are walled-off sections with rounded corners that separate the Electrodes from most of the action.

Players can hit them through these curved walls if they possess ranged attacks, though this likely won't be enough to take down an Electrode before they use Explosion.

These evolved pokemon have a decent amount of HP, so even tackling one with an entire team will be risky at low levels, however, since they give 10 points each, they can allow a team to get a lot of points early on for a nice advantage.

The best method is definitely to attack Electrodes alongside teammates, however, certain Attackers, All-Rounders, and Speedsters can defeat Electrodes by themselves after they have learned their best moves and have leveled up enough.

Like with other wild pokemon, it is possible to steal the takedown from the other team by allowing them to do most of the work in reducing Electrode's HP before the player swoops in to land the finishing blow. There is also lots of tall grass around for those who wish to take a stealthy approach.

Besides the points and Exp earned from beating Electrodes, the more clever players can trigger Explosion attacks both to damage unobservant enemies or cover one's retreat.

If one sees an opponent farming wild pokemon near an Electrode, those with ranged attacks can simply hit the Electric-type pokemon once in order to trigger their angry eruption, potentially causing that farming foe to get caught in the blast if they do not move out of the way.

Alternatively, if players are heading along a speedway toward the adversaries' Goal Zone, it could be a good idea to trigger Electrode on the way, so that if one encounters a lot of resistance when trying to score, players can retreat through the area where the orb-like pocket monster is about to self-destruct to deter enemies from pursuing.
