Pokemon Unite: How To Beat Regigigas | Game Rant

In the metagame revolving around the main series of Pokemon games, sometimes legendary pokemon end up being underwhelming weak in battle, which is very much at odds with their lore. However, in many spin-off games, such as the popular new MOBA Pokemon Unite, some legendaries get redeemed by being depicted as appropriately powerful.

Regigigas, the tallest and heaviest Normal-type legendary pokemon, makes a significant appearance in the Quick Battle map called Auroma Park. While this titanic pocket monster offers a lot of Exp and points, they are not to be underestimated, as they can instantly crush singular players if they are by themselves and at a low level.

This large map is a maze of hedges and conveyor belts, which can sometimes make it difficult to navigate, however, finding Regigigas will not be as much of an issue for most players as the legendary pokemon is found directly in the center of the park. Their square with corner walls is surrounded by a one-way conveyor belt that can be used both for quick entrances and exits.

As the massive Normal-type creature has an appropriately huge pool of HP, taking them down will take a long time if attacking solo, so be sure to attack this titan while accompanied by allies. This will also prevent Regigigas from only focusing on the player while they counterattack, which is ideal, as the tall black and white pocket monster packs a mean series of attacks, including a fierce fist slam and a linear beam attack.

Instead of charging at the big fellow alongside teammates, players can keep an eye on the in-game messages that announce when players are attacking specific wild pokemon for a bit of sneaky point-stealing. When one sees the opposing team attacking Regigigas, it's possible to wait until the big beast is almost out of HP before springing in, using the short speed boost granted by the nearest conveyor belt to launch oneself into the fray and land the finishing blow to acquire the generous 40 points that Regigigas holds.

To be blunt, don't bother trying to take on Regigigas solo, as nothing good will come of it. Firstly, Regigigas can do too much damage for a singular player to take more than a few hits unless they are at max level, and even then the HP loss is too great for a sustained attempt. This will result in one having to retreat, which will allow the legendary pokemon to recover all of their HP.

Secondly, even if a player can tank the hits, Regigigas still has a ton of HP, and, by the time they are getting close to being knocked out, it's likely that the other team will have noticed and might try to steal the takedown, which would mean a waste of one's efforts.

Finally, the time involved really is not worth the trouble, as farming Araquanids and other wild pokemon here can net 40 points quicker and easier while still allowing players to defend their goal and assist allies when needed.
