Hades is one-part Greek mythology, one-part bisexual haven, and one-part roguelite. Well, you can probably fold bisexual haven into Greek mythology. At any rate, it's an award-winning indie hit from Supergiant Games, the team behind Pyre and Bastion to name a couple, and its finally made its way to PlayStation and Xbox, rejuvinating its popularity. PowerA is celebrating as much through a new themed controller.
It's a royal red color with emblems taken from the game strewn across in a faded maroon hue while Zagreus, Hades' son, is creeping about on the bottom right. The lettered buttons are a similar color with gold text. All the others are that same shade of red to the main bulk of the controller, however. That being said, Zagreus brings some balck stripes to his little corner.

It's not currently available for pre-order but you can bookmark the Amazon page or add it to a list to keep tabs on it. It's officially licensed too, and can be played both wired and wireless via Bluetooth. When not plugged in, it allegedly has a battery life of 30 hours but, if it begins to wane, you'll know by way of a warning LED light. It also comes with a USB-C charge cable as part of the purchase.
It isn't PowerA's first licensed controller – they also have a Crash Bandicoot model, Animal Crossing, Mario, Pikachu, Super Meat Boy, and Cuphead.
So, if you really fancy, you can play Hades on the go with Zagreus nestled into the palm of your right hand. Tantilizing stuff. there's no price point listed just yet but, if Super Meat Boy or Cuphead are anything to go by, it could be anywhere from £40 to £90.
