A new update titled Blood Money coming to Red Dead Online next week will task players with tracking down Capitale and returning it to Guido Martelli.
Red Dead Online will get an all-new update next week titled Blood Money, the details of which were revealed by Rockstar earlier today. Blood Money is centered around the rather intimidating Guido Martelli. He's the guy in the Blood Money trailer below who doesn't want anyone to say his name. If you're familiar with Angelo Bronte, which you will be if you're a Red Dead Online savant, Martelli is effectively his number two.
Blood Money will have you working on Martelli's behalf as he tasks you with seeking out something called Capitale. Capitale was once used as currency to exact some of the west's "more sensitive business dealings". However, time has led to it falling into the hands of, well, just about everyone you wouldn't want it to fall into the hands of.

In order to get your hands on Capitale, and take it to Martelli, you will need to perform a new work type to Red Dead Online, Crimes. Much like in the real world, Crimes can take many forms. You might have to do nothing more than hold up a horse and carriage to get your hands on some of that sweet Capitale, or you might well have to kidnap someone. You can embark on Crimes alone or complete them as a group. Capitale will presumably be split between participants whenever you opt for the latter.
Once you have retrieved enough Capitale for Martell he will reward you with an Opportunity. Martelli is attempting to stop a senator trying to disrupt his boss's operation. Bring back enough Capitale and Martelli will trust you with helping him to stop the senator. There will be three Opportunities in total, but only one of them will be available when the Blood Money update goes live. The other two will be added at later dates.
The Blood Money update will also introduce The Quickdraw Club, four passes players will be able to buy to unlock various new rewards. New clothing and returning items will also be introduced via the update. Blood Money goes live on July 13, 2021, at which point everything mentioned above will be available to all Red Dead Online players.
