Resident Evil 7 Has Sold 9.8 Million Copies

Capcom has announced Resident Evil 7 has sold 9.8 million copies, Monster Hunter Rise has sold 7.3 million copies – among other new sales figures.

The news that Resident Evil 7 has sold 9.8 million copies and other title sales come via the company’s newly updated list of Platinum Titles, their barometer of games that hit over one million copies. The new sales figures are as of June 30, 2021.

Back in May of this year Resident Evil 7 had broke 7 million copies sold worldwide, making it Capcom’s second highest-selling game ever – trailing behind the massive Monster Hunter: World 17 plus million copies sold.

Here’s the full list:

  • Resident Evil Village has sold 4.5 million copies (NEW)
  • Monster Hunter Rise has sold 7.3 million copies (up 2.5 million from March 31)
  • Resident Evil 7 has sold 9.8 million copies (800,000 increased from March 31)
  • Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has sold 8.2 million copies (500,000 increased from March 31)
  • Resident Evil 2 Remake has sold 8.6 million copies (March 31) (500,000 increase from)
  • Resident Evil 3 Remake has sold 4.4 million copies (400,000 increase from March 31)
  • Street Fighter V (300,000 increase from March 31)
  • Devil Make Rise 5 has sold 4.5 million copies (up 200,000 from March 31)
  • Resident Evil Revelations Collection has sold 1 million copies (NEW)
