Even after the launch of Resident Evil Village, the vampiric and statuesque villainess Lady Alcina Dimitrescu remains a popular character for fans to cosplay. One Resident Evil Village fan has combined Lady Dimitrescu's striking outfit with a low-cut white corset and flower tattoos to devastating effect.
Redditor itskoop_ has pieced together a stunning Lady Dimitrescu outfit that gives the countess much more color in her cheeks, hair, and especially her lips than usual. While it's certainly not the most game-accurate cosplay on the internet, the liberties taken make this version of Lady Dimitrescu stand out from other Lady Dimitrescu cosplayers.

The cosplayer's outfit consists of a low-cut white corset that mimics the cut of Lady Dimitrescu's white dress, a white pearl necklace, a floppy-brimmed dark grey hat, and a fancy black corsage. However, it's the hair, tattoos, and make-up that truly make itskoop_'s take on Lady Dimitrescu memorable. Faded grey flowers cover her throat and upper shoulders, while her left forearm has been mostly blacked out aside from a short sentence in cursive scrawled over her wrist. Pitch-black eyeshadow surrounds her eyes, making them appear bruised. Her shoulder-length auburn hair matches her dark red lipstick, giving her mouth an almost bloodstained look that fits the lore behind Lady Dimitrescu very well.
While her outfit strays a bit from Lady Dimitrescu's old-fashioned outfit from the game, itskoop_'s cosplay does keep to the old-fashioned, vampiric theme of the character and she's still easily recognizable. The biggest differences are her tattoos, which cosplayers often use as a calling card or way for their fans to identify them no matter who they're dressed up as. An argument could be made that this version of Lady Dimitescu is still staying true to her bloodthirsty roots, particularly in her challenging, almost hungry expression. Another Resident Evil Village fan put together an impressive Bela Dimitrescu cosplay that takes a different, more game-accurate approach to the game's vampiric ladies, down to caked-on fake gore.
This cosplay appears to have been received warmly by fans, from her tattoos to her lipstick. One poster even jokingly asked itskoop_ if she was able to complete the cosplay by turning into a mutated dragon monster, to which the cosplayer replied that she could, but only on full moons. A second poster asked about her tattoos, leading to a short conversation about what getting a blackout tattoo feels like. However, there were a few complaints, mainly directed at Lady Dimitrescu's perceived sexualization and the amount of skin itskoop_ showed in the picture. Another striking Resident Evil Village cosplay focuses on bringing Mother Miranda to life, complete with her intricate halo.
Resident Evil Village is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
