In this guide we're going to outline exactly how you can unlock Star Clubs and Super Star Clubs in Mario Golf: Super Rush using Character Points, how to earn more, and, well, everything else you need to know. Just read down below for all of the details.

How To Unlock Star And Super Star Clubs In Mario Golf: Super Rush

Every playable character has access to Star and Super Star Clubs, but unlocking them will take a good amount of effort. Of course, only your Mii has an obvious progression path, but that doesn't mean you should neglect the other characters.

In each character's stats, you can see at the bottom of the list their Character Points, and this number represents how often you've used the character, and how well you've played. Once the Character Points hits a certain threshold, that character will gain access first to Star Clubs, and later to Super Star Clubs.

Here's how many Character Points you need to be able to access the new clubs:

  • Character Points Required For Star Clubs – 1,000
  • Character Points Required For Super Star Clubs – 3,000

Once these thresholds are met, you will automatically gain access to the new Club types, which will allow you to play a much better game.

How To Earn More Character Points Fast In Mario Golf: Super Rush

If you want to unlock Star and Super Star Clubs for your playable characters as quickly as possible, then this is what you need to know. First, you should know that you can earn Character Points for multiple characters at once by playing Multiplayer. Turn on a game of four-player Traditional Golf, get some friends (or play multiple characters yourself) and just keep playing in order to get points for multiple characters as quickly as possible.

Next, you will get a set amount of Character Points for anything you do in a game – including just starting and quitting. While you could rinse and repeat that method to get the points you need, it's not so fun, and here's what you can do to get points as quickly as possible:

Shot Type Character Points
Coin collecting 3
Playing a hole 10
Birdie 10
Eagle 20
Albatross 50
Hole-in-One 100

As you can see, getting a Hole-in-One is the best thing you can do to get more points. One method you can potentially use is repeatedly playing very short courses and aiming to get that Hole-in-One. If you repeat a single small stage and actually manage to get the shot, you can get 110 Character Points each time.
