In this guide we're focusing on Seer, his backstory, and his variety of abilities. All of this information should give you a few cool facts to share with your friends, in addition to the information you need to use Seer's abilities effectively in both the Battle Royale and Arenas game modes. For all of that and more, read our info below.

Seer's Backstory In Apex Legends

Seer's name is Obi Edolasim, and he was considered a cursed child thanks to a prophecy, and his piercing blue eyes. Despite the concerns of their community, Obi's parents cared for him, and eventually Obi was drawn to the Arenas and the Apex Games, where he could unleash his full potential.

At this point in the story, Seer is already an established champion of the Arenas, and this is his first entry into the Apex Games, where he meets the other Legends.

Seer's Voice Actor In Apex Legends

Seer's English language voice actor is Iké Amadi, a Nigerian voice actor that has also appeared in Knack, Injustice 2, Mass Effect 3, and Mortal Kombat 11. His earliest voice acting roles in video games go back to 2008's 007: Quantum of Solace. Iké is incredibly experienced, and has already brought Seer to life in-game and in trailers.

Is Seer Gay In Apex Legends?

According to a tweet from Amanda Doiron, lead writer at Respawn, Seer does not limit himself to genders when it comes to relationships, and instead sees the heart of people. This implies Seer is pansexual, and makes for a nice addition to Apex's diverse cast.

Seer's Abilities In Apex Legends

Seer's abilities are what make him fearsome in a firefight, and with a Seer in your squad you'll be able to hunt down your opponents much more easily. Here's how Seer's abilities work.

Tactical – Focus of Attention

This tactical is an area of effect, and hits all enemies directly in front of Seer when used for 75 meters. It deals just ten damage to enemies, but more importantly it'll reveal health bars and completely interrupt the use of heal items and revives.

If you have your opponents on the back foot and are pushing, this is the perfect ability to use. It can highlight exactly where the opponents are, and thanks to visible health bars, you'll also know which enemy you should be targeting first to whittle down the enemy numbers. A very effective tactical, in the right situation.

Passive – Heart Seeker

This also has a 75 meter range, but instead this ability will highlight the heartbeats of opponents as you aim down sights. Seer can also "aim down sights" even when not holding a weapon, so you can stay aware of where enemies are. When looking near an enemy, small arrows will point towards them, while it'll go entirely orange while you're aiming over an enemy. The lower the enemy's health, the faster their heart will beat on Seer's display.

This is another great trick for locating enemies. It works in confined areas where you're worried enemies might be lurking, but more importantly it also works at a decent distance, and allows you to judge whether enemies are hiding within an area before you enter, avoiding any nasty surprises, and giving you time to assemble the squad and take down your opponents.

Ultimate – Exhibit

Seer's ultimate ability is Exhibit, which is great for revealing and tracking enemies within a small location. The sphere lasts for 30 seconds, and will show the footsteps and gunfire of enemies. Though, on caveat is that enemies in the air or crouched while moving will not be visible, allowing them a chance to sneak through.

This ability is great if you're trying to raid a team that is holed up inside a building, as it should give you a good idea of where everyone in the building is, and if they leave. Combine this with the Heart Seeker passive ability, and you'll be able to narrow down where all of the opponents are so your team can wipe them out.
