The Biggest Announcements From Summer Game Fest


There were tons of announcements during Summer Game Fest this year. Some were bigger than others, but we put together a roundup of the best announcements from Kickoff Live!

Elden Ring got a new trailer alongside a release date. Launching January 21, 2022, the RPG from the famed creators of Game of Thrones and Dark Souls will launch for console and PC players alike


Death Stranding is getting a director’s cut for PlayStation 5. Not much was announced for it, other than a teaser trailer, but Geoff Keighley did say that more information would be revealed in the coming weeks.


Tales of Arise got a new trailer today, showing off more enemies, abilities, and the beautiful world players will be able to explore. Characters got a bit more focus today too in the new action packed trailer. Tales of Arise launches September 10th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and digitally on PC. There’s even a beautiful collector’s edition available on the Bandai Namco store for those interested.


The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes got a new trailer today. The anthology of horror games have been great new adventure titles from developer Supermassive Games. The latest title takes players to 2003 Iraq, where a tremor opens up the Earth and takes a small military group underground where the awaken a frightening new terror. House of Ashes launches on October 22nd for all consoles.


A guest appearance by Jeff Goldblum announced the upcoming Jurassic World Evolution 2. We know nothing about it other than that it will likely be a park or island builder, and it will launch on all platforms.
