Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is set during the period 100 years prior to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s a space of time ripe for exploration, one that many fans have been hoping Nintendo would explore ever since the release of Breath of the Wild. Those who have been itching to hear more about Age of Calamity won’t have long to wait, as the next update arrives on September 26!

Beyond this tease, not much else is known about what Nintendo will be showing off of the upcoming game. The four Champions and Zelda have all been confirmed as playable. With word of a rerelease of the quartet of Champions Amiibo, it’s possible that the figurines might factor into Age of Calamity, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
