Bad news if you are a fan of games from Nacon as they have delayed four of their games set to release next year.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong which was meant to arrive in 2021, then got delayed until February 2022, has been delayed again and will now be released on May 19th 2022. Nacon say the delay is required to “deliver a game that meets the expectations of the franchise’s global fan base and its own publishing targets.” The game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
It’s a similar story for Blood Bowl 3 which was originally set to launch early this year but then got moved to February 2022. It will now come out later in 2022. “The game has already received many positive updates and Cyanide Studio continues the development in order to ensure a high-quality adaptation of the renowned board game. Fans can still try out Blood Bowl 3 before it releases with upcoming closed beta before launch,” say Nacon.
Two other games have also been delayed, here’s more from the press release:
The schedule for Train Life: A Railway Simulator has been extended to June 2022 when the final version will be released. Train Life is a unique game that combines train driving with rail company management. It has been received very positively by players since its early-access launch last August. The developer, Simteract, is listening to the community and wants to take the time to meet players’ expectations, implement their feedback, and improve the existing base game by adding new content and features on a regular basis.
The hotel simulation game Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is expected in late Q2 2022. Hotel Life is an original addition to the gaming landscape, requiring players to alternate between entertainment activities, facilities maintenance and resort management. The new schedule will allow the developer to set a higher quality bar that will appeal to fans of in-depth simulators.
