Ruffin Prentiss, the voice behind Marcus Holloway, says that shipping Marcus and Wrench is "super exciting".
TheGamer recently had the chance to talk to Ruffin Prentiss on what it was like to return to Watch Dogs through the Bloodline DLC, what he thinks about the future of the series, and whether he'd return for another entry.

Beyond talking about Watch Dogs as a whole, Ruffin also talked about the relationship between Marcus and Wrench, which is one of the core parts of the latter's character development in Bloodline. Although some fans consider it to be a bromance, many players consider the relationship between the two to be romantic, even teased in-game with Wrench calling it "overt sexual tension".
On the subject, Prentiss said, "I believe they would drop anything else they had going on to help one another out. For Wrench and Marcus to fall on that list as a shippable relationship is super exciting. I think it speaks to the fun and care they show to one another. It also speaks to the writers and creators of the game as well as how fun it is to work with Shawn Baichoo. When I am reading Marcus’ dialogue with Wrench, I can imagine how Shawn said Wrench’s lines and it brings a smile to my face. He is such a fun scene partner and I think that’s why people love to see Wrench and Marcus together: in-game and also shipped".
Wrench and Marcus have been shipped ever since Watch Dogs 2 launched, but Bloodline even leans into the idea somewhat by revealing that Wrench is bisexual, having been married in the time since the second game. Although it's by no means a confirmation of the two characters having any romantic relationship, the fact that Prentiss is so positive regarding the idea should be encouraging to the members of the Watch Dogs fanbase that still consider the relationship between the two as romantic.
