Despite being one of the most terrifying enemies in Breath of the Wild, one player has devised a new strategy to take down a Lynel in less than six seconds. Through a bizarre use of weapon swapping, dozens of hits are administered to the beast in rapid succession – leading to one of the most disappointing fights in Zelda history.
Most players tend to avoid Lynels, and rightfully so. As one of the most challenging enemies in Hyrule, there's often no reason to risk your life taking one down. However, with this newly discovered technique, you might be tempted to take them on more often.

Redditor Jhent is the player behind the technique, and they explain that the strategy takes advantage of an existing combat glitch while mounted – but adds their own twist to further speed things up.
"It's this [glitch] and swapping between my bow and weapon to move the hitbox and hit the Lynel over and over," Jhent said. Using the new method, they're able to deal blow after blow to the Lynel and deplete its health bar in just 5.26 seconds. If you're curious to learn more, you can check out the post below:

Despite being an aging title, Breath of the Wild is still keeping players engaged all these years later. An 8K mod recently brought new life to the title, and another player managed to beat the game in under 26 minutes. There was also a strange instance of Hyrule getting flooded with unused poison water – and we're not sure if you'll want to go swim in it.
We're still waiting to learn more about Breath of the Wild 2, although some new gameplay footage during E3 2021 showed off a title that looked much like its predecessor – although it took things to new heights by letting players explore some sort of sky realm. Expect to learn more in the coming months and we slowly close in on its eventual release.
