In this guide, we are going to go over how to unlock each type of building that you will be able to place on your ship. Some buildings will immediately unlock while talking to a Spirit, while some require you to finish a few quests. First, let's take a look at how to place buildings after you unlock them.
How To Place Buildings
To place buildings on your ship, visit the blueprint station located on top of Stella's cabin. Here, you will be able to place, build, and upgrade different buildings. As you unlock more buildings, you can edit the layout. All buildings will require certain materials to build, but it is free to move them.
In total, there are three different types of buildings; Spirit houses, production buildings, and navigation buildings. Your ship can contain multiple production and navigation buildings of the same type. For example, you will be able to have more than one Garden. These buildings can also be dismantled.
Spirit houses are unique and you will not be able to dismantle them. Although you can move them around, you will not be able to get rid of them once built.
First, let's take a look at every type of Spirit house.
Spirit Houses
While exploring the oceans, you will meet a variety of Spirits. These Spirits will need their own house to sleep and relax in. Below, you can find every Spirit's house, as well as how to unlock and build it. To begin the steps to unlock each building, you will first need to have the Spirit join you on your ship.
Most of these Spirit's will join you, and then later request their house.

Production Buildings
In addition to a variety of unique Spirit houses, you will also add production buildings to your ship. Each of these buildings produces material that can be used to create other buildings. Rather than exploring the world to find blueprints, production buildings unlock when you upgrade your blueprint station. To upgrade the blueprint station, you will need to visit Albert's Shipyard. Below, you can find all production builds, as well as how to unlock them and the materials need to build them.
These production buildings can be upgraded, which will take additional material. We are going to go over the base cost for each building though.

Buildings That Help With Navigation
These three buildings are used to help you move around your ship quicker. As you upgrade the size of your ship, traveling will become tedious. The following buildings will cut down on the amount of time you spend running around your ship.
