What time is it? According to HBO Max, it is time to see a new clip of Adventure Time: Distant Lands – Wizard City, which is the fourth and final episode of Adventure Time: Distant Lands series. The clip was released this morning via the HBO Max’s official Twitter account.
Fans of the animated series were heartbroken when the series ended in 2016, as adventures with loveable and brave Finn the Human and his brother and best friend Jake the Dog seemed to be nothing more than a thing of the past. However, hope was restored when Adventure Time: Distant Lands series premiered last June. The series consists of 4 hour-long specials – BMO, Obsidian, Together Again and Wizard City.

BMO is focused on Finn and Jake’s friend and video game console system – BMO – who is traveling through space. Obsidan took a look into the relationship between vampire queen, Marceline, and Ooo royalty, Princess Bubblegum. Together Again shows Finn and Jake reuniting in the afterlife and Wizard City will be showing a young Peppermint Butler as a student in Wizard School. The episode may provide insight as to why he got the nickname of “The Dark One”.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands – Wizard City will begin streaming Thursday, September 2 on HBO Max.
Cartoon Network also recently worked with Ubisoft for an Adventure Time crossover with action-adventure game – Immortals Fenyx Rising. The network is also planning on bringing back Cartoon Cartoons, which originally debuted in 1995. Steven Universe: Unleash the Light – an RPG based on the original Cartoon Network series – recently added a free update, which added Steven’s sword-wielding best friend turned love interest Connie Maheswaran, as well as his stubborn magical pet Lion as playable characters.
